Specialist Gastroenterology and Hepatology
Dr. Abdulwahhab Shaheed Abdullah has joined Oman International Hospital as a Specialist Gastroenterologist. In 2001, he received his MBChB from Al-Mustansiriya College of Medicine in Baghdad, Iraq. Dr. Abdulwahhab acquired his Council of the Arab Board of Medical Specializations in Internal Medicine (CABM) in Damascus, Syria in 2009, and his Fellowship of the Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations in Gastroenterology and Hepatology (FIBMS) in 2014.
Dr. Abdulwahhab has over 22 years of experience and is well-versed in diagnostic upper and lower endoscopy as well as therapeutic GI endoscopic procedures.
He has given numerous lectures, tutorials, and medical ward clinical sessions to undergraduate medical students, including participation in OSCE stations preparation and examinations. Dr. Abdulwahhab is still an active member of the Iraqi Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and the Iraqi Medical Association.
