Dr. Hatim Al Lawati has vast experience in non invasive cardiology including clinic, referral consults, CCU, TMT, Holter, Echocardiography. He has broad experience in managing acute emergencies like acute coronary syndrome, STEMI, NONSTEMI, Unstable angina, acute heart failure, and cardiogenic shock. Extensive experience in performing diagnostic coronary angiography, right heart catheterization and complex hemodynamic assessments and percutaneous coronary intervention including primary PCI and complex PCI. Vast experience in structural heart disease intervention like balloon valvuloplasty, TAVI and percutaneous management of congenital heart defects. He is a Member of Royal college of physicians and surgeons of Canada since 2011.
In addition, he is member of Oman Heart Association, Gulf heart association, Gulf Intervention Society, American College of Cardiology and Society of cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention.
He has more than 10 years experience in Cardiology. He graduated from Sultan Qaboos University, Summa Cum Laude in 2003 year.
He Underwent post graduate and fellowship training in General and Interventional cardiology at The University of Toronto in Canada. He underwent further training in structural, valvular and advanced cardiac interventions at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
He has been working as Senior Consultant Cardiologist at the Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Muscat for 7 years.
