Prof. Ahmed Abdul Wahab Al Bulushi (MD, MSc (CTh), FRCS, FRACS (CTh), FCTS (CTh), FANZSCTS (CTh), FESCVS, FACS, FRSM), is Professor & Senior Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Professor Ahmed AL-Bulushi is a professor of cardiothoracic surgery and Senior consultant cardiothoracic surgeon at the Royal Hospital Sultanate Of Oman and National Heart Centre, studied, trained, and worked and have postgraduate degrees from UK, Australia and USA, Fellow and member of Australasian and New Zealand Society of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons,
Fellow of European Society of Cardiovascular surgery, Fellow of Scandinavian Society for Research in Cardiothoracic Surgery, International Society Of Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Fellow and Prof. Of Royal Society Of Medicine (U.K), Fellow of American College Of Surgeons (USA) , Fellow Professor and Examiner Of Royal College Of Surgeon Of Edinburgh, Reader at University of Queensland Medical School (Australia).

Board Of Cardiothoracic Surgery Of Royal Australasian College Of Surgeons, Fellow Of Gulf Heart Association and Oman Heart Association. Former Acting Head of Surgical specialties at Royal hospital, Deputy Director of Cardiothoracic Dept. National Heart Center.In charge of state of art Thoracic Surgery Unit in the National Heart Centre. Has 35 years of experience in surgical fields.

Professor of Basic Surgical and Medical sciences at the National University (Oman Medical College). Local supervisor of the Ph.D. thesis of postgraduate Omani students in the medical field (Imperial College London). Author of multiple books and notebooks on surgical and medical sciences and many publications of cardiothoracic articles in several international journals, Speaker and involved in many national and international organizing and scientific committees, Former member of Oman medical specialty Board (OMSB), Founding member of Oman Medical Council, Founding member and drafting the Guidelines of Ethics and Research Committee and Head of the Task Force in Royal Hospital, Founding member of Audit and Quality Assurance Committee, Reviewer for journal of cardiothoracic surgery, World Journal of Surgical Oncology, Oman Medical Journal, and Sultan Qaboos University Hospital Journal. Member of the Research Committee in NHC. Editorial board member of Open access journal of cardiology(OAJC), journal of cardiology(USA), International Journal of Oncology and Surgery Research, journal of clinical & medical images.
