Dr. Santiago M. Herrero, MBBS, Diploma of Degree in medicine and surgery (MD), Joined Oman International Hospital as  Consultant – Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He is specialized in intensive and critical care, fellow of American college of chest physicians (FCCP)2006.

Dr. Santiago worked as a former clinical director of cardiac surgical ICU at the Jilin Heart Hospital, Changchun, Jilin Province China.

He is a board-certified critical Care physician of the Spanish society of Intensive Care Medicine (SMICYVC) since 1989. He has fellowship of the American College of chest physicians, 2005.

Dr. Santiago got the research proficiency in 2008 by the University of Oviedo (Spain) and also he worked in different countries and continents during the Covid-19 pandemic as an expert in the management of these patients.

Dr. Santiago worked as an associate editor of “Current Respiratory Medicine Reviews” till 2014 and also for the Journal Critical Care and Shock.

He was visitor Professor in the Taxes Medical Center (St. Lucke’s Episcopal Hospital, the Methodist and the United Memorial Medical Center) in Houston, Taxes, US.

In 2017, Dr. Santiago was awarded with the Mountain Chaugun Friendship Award by the Chaugun and Jilin Government in China.
