Dr. Nooreen Al Balushi

Dr. Nooreen Al Balushi is a Consultant General, Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant Surgeon at the Royal Hospital, and Director of the Omani Center for Organ Transplantation at the Ministry of Health. She completed advanced fellowship training in Liver Transplantation and Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) Surgery, with specialized expertise in gallbladder, liver and pancreatic cancer surgery, in Canada, and holds a Certificate in Surgical Leadership from Harvard Medical School.

In addition to her highly specialized practice, Dr. Al Balushi provides comprehensive General Surgery services, including advanced laparoscopic (minimally invasive) procedures for a wide range of abdominal conditions. Her clinical expertise spans gallbladder disease, hernia repair, gastrointestinal surgery, abdominal wall surgery, emergency general surgery, and complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic operations, with a strong focus on delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
