Dr. Mohammed Jamil Hyder

Dr. Mohammed Jamil Hyder is a highly experienced Consultant in ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) and Head & Neck Surgery. He holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) from England, obtained in 1986, and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow, UK, awarded in 1987. He also holds a Diploma in Laryngology and Otology from the Royal College of Surgeons, England.

Dr. Hyder received advanced specialist training in ENT in the United Kingdom and is listed on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council (GMC), UK. He is fully accredited to work as a Consultant in the UK. Over the course of his career, he has served as a Senior Consultant in ENT at a tertiary care hospital in Oman for more than 25 years. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to the development and implementation of the residency training program in ENT.

His surgical expertise includes routine ENT procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, insertion of grommets, septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and excision of tongue-tie. He also performs advanced surgeries such as endoscopic sinus surgery for the treatment of nasal and sinus diseases, tympanoplasty, mastoid surgery, and stapedectomy. In addition, he is experienced in the excision of preauricular sinuses and thyroglossal cysts.

Dr. Hyder is skilled in the management of both benign and malignant head and neck pathologies. He also treats a range of auditory and vestibular conditions, including deafness, vertigo, and tinnitus. Known for his holistic approach to care, Dr. Hyder prioritizes patient comfort and informed decision-making.
