Dr. Miguel Pirre is the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine and Internal Medicine Consultant at Oman International Hospital. He joined the Oman International Hospital in 2021. He practiced relevant clinical activity, in the government sector and in the most relevant private health groups in Portugal. He has over 25 years of clinical experience in Europe. Dr. Miguel Pirre is still a member of the Portuguese Council of Internal Medicine and the Portuguese Medical Association. Dr. Miguel Pirre graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra, in Portugal, one of the oldest universities in the world. His specialization in Internal Medicine was carried out in a university hospital environment – Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra – one of the most prominent hospitals in Portugal. His training took place in a department of Internal Medicine, also dedicated to Hepatology, Rheumatology, and Oncology.
