Dr. Masoud Al-Riyami is a Senior Consultant in Sports Medicine & Injuries. Graduated with Mb, BCh (April 1984) from Ain Sham University, Cairo, Egypt. Got his MSc, Surgery in General (July 1993) at University of Glasgow, UK. Accomplished PhD, in Sports Orthopaedics (January 2008) from the University of Sheffield, UK.
Specialist in Orthopaedic sports medicine & surgery including arthroscopic surgery for knee injuries of ligamentous reconstruction. Shoulder arthroscopic surgery for rotator cuff rupture, labrum tear and shoulder decompression. Ankle Arthroscopy and ligaments reconstruction. Muscles, tendons and ligaments surgeries.
He has arthroscopy fellowships for Shoulder, Knee and Ankle joints (2004 to 2008).
Serve as medical committee member for Asian Football Confederation (AFC) & International Federation of Football Associations FIFA (2003 to 2011).
