Dr Joel Coutinho, is an Omani physician with Portuguese roots, and a pioneering figure in orthopaedic surgery in Oman.
Graduated from the Armed Forces Medical College, has a Master’s degree in Orthopaedics and a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow.
Dr Joel Coutinho serves as a Clinical Lecturer in Orthopaedics at Sultan Qaboos University
College of Medicine. He is one of the most decorated physicians in the country, having received numerous awards, honours, and recognitions for his outstanding contributions
over more than 40 years of exceptional clinical and surgical practice.
