Dr. Hatim Al Lawati is a Canadian-trained Senior Consultant in Interventional Cardiology and Director of Structural Cardiac Interventions at the National Heart Centre, The Royal Hospital. He specializes in advanced minimally invasive procedures for structural and valvular heart disease, including TAVI, mitral valvuloplasty, septal defect closure, and complex coronary interventions. He also has expertise in intravascular imaging, plaque modification, and the management of acute cardiac conditions. Previously, he served as Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Associate Professor of Medicine at Sultan Qaboos University.
