Dr. Dana Ahmed Al-Nabhani

Dr. Dana Ahmed Mohammed Al-Nabhani, MD, FRCPC, is a distinguished Senior Consultant in Paediatric Nephrology with over 15 years of experience in delivering tertiary-level renal care for children. She previously led the Paediatric Nephrology Unit at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH), where she was instrumental in establishing and advancing specialized nephrology services and managing complex, high-acuity cases.

Dr. Dana possesses extensive expertise in renal replacement therapies, including continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and peritoneal dialysis, as well as in the diagnosis and management of a broad spectrum of paediatric renal conditions such as congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT), nephrotic syndrome, paediatric hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and acute kidney injury. She is highly regarded for her multidisciplinary approach, collaborating seamlessly with critical care and subspecialty teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. 

She completed her subspecialty training in Paediatrics and Paediatric Nephrology at the internationally renowned Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Canada, and holds prestigious board certifications from both Canada and the United States. In addition to her clinical excellence, Dr. Dana has contributed significantly to medical education, research, and clinical leadership. She is currently available as a visiting senior consultant at Oman International hospital.
