- Dr Sanchez Pernaute designed, described and developed the S.A.D.I and S.A.D.I-Sleeve (Single Anastomosis Duodeno Ileal by pass sleeve gastrectomy) procedure as a new bariatric surgery surgical procedure in 2007 A modern and alternative procedure expanding the possibilities of the surgical metabolic treatment all around the world.
- Currently a consultant visiting surgeon in public and private health sector of several countries around the world from Kuwait t o Colombia.
