Dr. Adil Barakat Al Riyami (MD, MRCP (UK), FRCP (Canada)), Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at the Heart and Vascular Centre of Excellence.
Dr. Al Riyami has vast experience in non-invasive cardiology including clinic, referral consults, CCU, TMT, Holter, and Echocardiography. He has broad experience in managing acute emergencies like acute coronary syndrome, STEMI, NONSTEMI, Unstable angina, acute heart failure, and cardiogenic shock. He has extensive experience in performing diagnostic coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention including primary PCI and complex PCI. He has vast experience in structural heart disease intervention like balloon valvuloplasty and TAVI. In addition, he is a board member of the Oman Heart Association (OHA) and Gulf Intervention Society (GIS).
